The Morning Glory Pool is one of the numerous hot springs that flow the volcanic land of Yellowstone National Park, among Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

Despite temperature gets to 87°C, this pool is lived by several colonies of extremophile bacteria, super-resistent organisms which are able to live in unfavorable environmental conditions. The Morning Glory is a natural pool whose color fade from blue to orange: this feature is due to bacteria which live in water.
