Save The Earth

After the drammatic fact which hit the Russia, the Canadian Space Agency is approving a special thin space telescope which will detects and tracks near Earth objects. This space telescope, called NEOS Sat, is launching on 25 February.

The NEOS Sat could find a little more difficult to hunt down the smaller size meteor, like that one which impacted in Russia last week, but, however, it is going to be the fist telescope in orbit dedicated to keep tabs on what's buzzing around the Earth.

Meanwhile, in addition to kept an eye out for space rocks, the NEOS Sat will monitor the increasing quantities of space rubbish, so to prevent another collison between orbiting satellites and parts of destryed satellites.
