WIT Training in Palermo

Today and tomorrow, from 2:30 to 6:00 pm, Project Women in Technology will hold a training session in Palermo at the Istituto Professionale Pietro Piazza, the school directed by Headmaster Gaspare Marano. The professors involved in the project are Serafina Sallemi and Anna Maria Giallombardo, while the training session will be held by young start-upper Cecilia Latella Costerbosa. The project is coordinated by Cecilia Stajano, School Innovation Coordinator for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

 

On Thursday, Feb. 9 and Friday, Feb. 10 (8:30 am to 1 pm), training sessions will also be held at the Istituto Magistrale Camillo Finocchiaro, managed by Principal Fabrizio Mangioni. The school is also part of hte National Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gyms. After the meeting with Coach Cecilia, the young women will continue their training with Prof. Natalia Visalli.

 

Project Women in Technology (WIT), which is financed by Costa Crociere Foundation, is dedicated to 150 young women in Campania, Calabria and Sicily to contrast the NEET phenomenon and create new work opportunities.
